This course is designed for business owners and key decision makers to better understand insurance coverage and exclusions. It specifically focuses on legal requirements and how to comply with state and federal laws. The course provides an overview of the law as it pertains to insurance, and how to manage risk in the most economical manner. The course is filled with examples and real life situations that bring relevance to the information. The course also addresses the many legal obligations associated with the Fair Labor Standards Act. The course will help answer questions like when is over time pay required, should employees be paid for travel time, and how old does someone need to be to work on a construction site.
